Door to door service to anywhere in Manhattan.
Reservation from the airport to Manhatan is usually not required.
Upon arrival at the airport follow the signs to the ground transportation desk.
Fares range from $13 to $22 (plus tip) but please check before you board, so you know how much you will pay. Discounts are available for additional passengers in the same party.
Note: You need to make a reservation if you plan to use this service from Manhattan to the airport. Call 1-212-258-3826 giving at least 24hr advance notice, or ask the hotel concierge to arrange for your pick-up.

Public Transportation
The New York City subways and buses run to LaGuardia for $2 (note: you need this amount in change or Metrocard).
The easiest route is the M60 bus which picks you up at the airport and drops you off at 116th and Broadway in front of the gates of Columbia University. From here you can take a bus, taxi or subway to anywhere in Manhattan.

Fare: $5 to exit the AirTrain + $2 to access the subway.

NEWARK LIBERTY INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT
http://www.panynj.gov/aviation/egtsfram.htm
Journey time is generally 1-2 hours.

Yellow Cab
Take the train, taxi fare is approximately $70...

Super Shuttle
See La Guardia above.

Public Transportation – AirTrain/Train
http://www.airtrainnewark.com/airtrainnewark/index.html
Take the AirTrain to Newark International Station and then change to Amtrak or NJ Transit train going to New York Penn Station at 33rd Street and Seventh Avenue. New York Penn Station is a major transportation hub offering connections from New York City Transit subways and buses.
Buy a NJ TRANSIT or Amtrak ticket from Newark Airport Train Station, and that ticket covers both the NJ TRANSIT or Amtrak portion of your ride as well as the AirTrain portion.
Otherwise, the AirTrain costs $5.50 and the fare to NYC on Amtrak or NJ Transit is probably about the same.
